We’re looking for a 4-7 years’ experience (Senior) Business Analyst to assist in the Digital Workforce Planning.

 

Background

Project Background: Digital Workforce Planning is a project started January 2020. As a result of the new Digital organisation, where resources are grouped together based on role in Chapters and Domains and allocated out to the Product and Platform teams, an urgent need has arisen to be able to allocate resources between teams in a structured way. There is also a need to have a resource overview on team level, which resources work where, together with a resource forecasting capability. The project will deliver a solution and process to allocate resources between teams and forecast resources on a 16 month horizon in combination with a reporting capability.

 

Assignment background: P&C will recruit a responsible for the workforce planning process, until then the project needs to own the process while developing the solution. The project is now in a need of a person who can act as a temporary owner of the process, leader of onboarding support, and data analysis.

 

The scope of the consultant services is to assist IKEA in..

The role would contain the following responsibilities:

1. Acting owner of workforce planning process
• Drive and collect monthly resource forecast submissions
• Follow-up on teams with no submissions
• Analytics e.g. compare FinTool and Clarity resource forecast
• Clarity data responsible
• Set-up and execute on a bi-weekly temporary process for resource data updates in Clarity (will be solved once CDS->Clarity integration is up and running)

 

2. Training lead and support to new onboarded Managers/Activity Owners

• Work with P&C to include workforce planning in onboarding package
• Set-up training package for new Resource Managers/Activity Owners
• On-need-basis workforce planning support to Managers/Activity Owners

  • Desired knowledge, experience, competence skills etc.

Understanding of resource planning/capacity management
Understanding of financial processes Experience from leading and planning system training sessions
Experience of driving change
Strong in communication and analytical skills
Excellent English

 

Nice to have: Experience with CA PPM, Clarity staffing module Experience with Power BI

Compensation for overtime requested by IKEA will be compensated with the contracted hourly rate, no additional mark-up will be applied.
